Sometimes, it really feels as though it is the world against weird Karens who feel entitled to make it a worse place for everyone else. I’ve watched a ton of videos of women (and men!) who decide that the consequences of their actions don’t apply to them and will refuse to take any accountability. One woman decided to record herself doing just that to what looks to be a sweet old man right in front of her daughter. It’s a good thing the video made its way to TikTok.
The video depicts an older man in a grocery store looking at the tuna when the woman filming approaches him. She immediately asks the man if he had called her daughter rude, to which he immediately admits. He also admits that he only did so because the young girl gave him the finger (raised her middle finger up at him). When the young girl is confronted, she admits to having done it because the older man is going too slowly.
Instead of reprimanding her daughter, the woman decides that the older man is the one at fault since he was both going too slowly and called her daughter rude. The only thing I got from the entire encounter was that this woman is teaching the rude girl how to grow up to be a terrible person.
Many commenters went to the replies to give their opinion on the woman’s parenting techniques, while others empathized with the man.

I also sympathize with the man, because I thought the whole video was a joke until I realized it wasn’t. She was accosting the man for calling her daughter rude because she’s young and he’s older, despite her giving him an excellent reason to. The whole time I watched, I just imagined how this would have never flown when I was a child.

I don’t doubt we’ll see the rude girl in other videos when she’s older. Though, they won’t be very positive ones.
