There’s a lot of speculation about when Kate Middleton will make her return to public life. Last seen Christmas Day, the Princess of Wales‘ team hasn’t made any promises as to when she will return to royal duties after shockingly revealing she was diagnosed with cancer.
Despite sources saying Kate will remain in private recovery through the remainder of the year, Vanity Fair reports Kate is improving and may make a return sooner than we think.
It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better. It has, of course, been a very challenging and worrying time. Everyone has rallied around her โ William, her parents, and her sister and brother.

Navigating Kate’s illness has clearly not been easy for anyone connected to the royal family. It seems they are taking comfort in her improvement. That means allowing her time when it comes to returning to work.
There is no timeline, and there is certainly no hurry. It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the green light from her medical team. But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question.

Many fans and critics of the royal family have been uncomfortable with how the Windsors have handled Kate’s illness. Both before and after Kate’s video discussing her cancer, speculation ran wild as her absence was noted.
One royal source pointed out that the speculation has been difficult on the Prince of Wales, who has been “upset and angry” at how far some theories have gone.
Whether youโre a prince or a pauper, no one would expect anything like this with his father and his wife both being treated for cancer. William is digging deep.

The royals are currently navigating uncharted waters. They are dealing with two senior royals battling cancer. Each is taking a different approach, however, and those approaches are yielding different reactions. Ultimately, everyone is hopeful that the Princess of Wales is doing well. Her return to public life is unquestionably anticipated. For now, it seems it will come on her time, on her terms. It doesn’t seem that public perception, however negative it may get, is influencing them in that decision.
