Katy Perry has finally opened up about her strange eye glitch clip during her Las Vegas show that went viral. The 38-year-old singer’s eye glitch video had gone viral. The clip was strange and it raised an alarm as fans were concerned about the singer’s health.
In the video that was shared on TikTok on October 23, the Teenage Dream singer’s right eye was seen closing on its own. Whenever the eye flutters shut, Perry would touch her temple and it would flutter open before closing back again. The musician was not concerned about what was happening with her eye as she continued with her show.

After Perry announced 14 more dates scheduled for her 2023 Las Vegas concert series with the title; Katy Perry: PLAY, she addressed the viral video. The singer explained that the eye glitch was just a part of the show.
In her Instagram post on October 27, she put some hashtags and welcomed people to see her “broken doll eye party trick IRL” in Las Vegas next year. Perry had insinuated that the eye glitch was just one of her party tricks. She added that she even pours “beer out of my tits (that’s a party trick too…”

Per E! News, Fans found the California Gurls singer’s eye glitch very strange. Some fans have brought up their own speculation about the weird scenario.
In the comments of the TikTok account that posted the clip which went viral, fans dropped their various theories of what they thought.
A TikTok user speculated that in Perry’s show, she was trying to portray her character to be a “doll in a Toy Story type of environment.” The user insinuated that the singer’s eye was blinking like a doll.
Some other fans thought she is a robot. Different theories have been brought up, but Perry said the eye glitch was just a trick part of the show.
Perry revealed that fans should expect more tricks she has up her sleeve in her shows.
