Katy Perry sparked concern from her own Instagram followers in June, sharing leggy snaps as she makes her big music comeback. The singer, 39, has been ramping up action on her IG as she drops her new “Woman’s World” single, but fans seeing her photos weren’t discussing her beats.
Rocking cheeky shorts and a matching jacket paired with a crop top, Katy flaunted her recent weight loss, something her followers couldn’t stop talking about. The American Idol judge, who has since shocked the world with her slimmed-down frame at Paris Fashion Week, had some fans thinking that she’s using weight loss drug Ozempic. The comment kicking the drama off even deemed Katy to be looking “sick.”

Striking poses for her indoor shoot, Katy flaunted her long legs and whittled-down waist in a faded pair of marbled black shorts in washed denim.
Keeping her look coordinated, the pop star threw in a matching denim jacket, throwing the camera a gaze from behind glam shades while rocking matching booties with a heel. Katy, who sported her dark locks down, returned crouching down and without her jacket in a swipe, this time flashing her trim torso in a see-through white crop top with a black bra underneath.
Eventually, Katy removed her shades as her total four photos gained over 800,000 likes. While the post proved a hit overall and even earned a like from SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian, it caused worry as fans flocked to comment on Katy’s frame.
Fans Think She Looks ‘Sick’
Over 400 users have now liked a reply reading: “Why is she so thin, is she sick or something.”
Suggesting that Perry has been using Ozempic, another replied: “All celebrities are using Ozempic , Wegovy, Etc…” Katy has never admitted to using Ozempic, although stars including Rebel Wilson and Oprah Winfrey have.
While further fans expressed concern for Katy’s health, some felt that people should simply not comment on weight in the first place. “Can anyone just live without commenting on weight. She’s hot and powerful does her weight matter,” a popular reply read.
Agreeing, a further fan stated: “If she’s thin, she’s not good enough…if she’s heavy, she’s not good enough. Dang! People stop criticizing and move TF on!” Katy flaunted her weight loss in an open fur coat with nothing underneath at the recent Balenciaga Show, also stripping down to swimwear from her Cannes hotel balcony last month.
