Katy Perry was all smiles as she exited the BBC‘s One Show last weekend, but it looks like Instagram had thoughts on the “Woman’s World” singer’s style. Highlighting her whittled-down frame as she continues to turn heads for her recent weight loss, Katy waved at the cameras while rocking a tight top and sheer lace skirt, but she wasn’t met with the best reception as fans reacted to her outfit.
Leaving a building as she wore shades and flashed her toned legs, Katy ditched the bathing suit looks she’s spent much of this month being photographed in. Instead, the 39-year-old slipped her figure into a shimmery top and skirt combo, but her look largely got the thumbs-down.

Going skintight in a teal top with a cute structured collar and small cap sleeves, Katy drew the eye to her curves and slender arms and waistline.
The pop singer, who has fans convinced she used weight loss drug Ozempic to slim down, added a flowing, see-through skirt, one boasting chic black embellishments and smart lace fabrics.
Adding black footwear to match her skirt and shades, Katy looked confident in her unusual ensemble, and she likely wasn’t expecting the response left by those seeing Just Jared‘s images. Tagging the star in London, U.K., the outlet wrote: “Katy Perry wears a gray bodysuit and black lace skirt as she heads out after an appearance on BBC’s “The One Show” in London.”
Fans Think She Isn’t Quite ‘Dressed’
“That’s a skirt?” one fan asked. Another, meanwhile, gained likes as they said: “She needed some more time to get fully dressed, people! Papz are impatient.”
Also questioning Katy’s style was a fan stating: “2 garments that do not go together in any way.“
One fan even likened the former American Idol judge to fellow pop star Dua Lipa. “Oh! For a split second, I thought it was Dua Lipa in the first pic! Anyway… Oooozzzempic!!!” they wrote, joining other fans throwing out the O word. Katy, who is definitely much slimmer than she was this time last year, has not confirmed using the weight loss drug.
Katy may be gearing up for the September release of her 143 album, but with her July-released “Woman’s World” single so far proving a flop, she’s likely working extra hard to win fans over.
On July 18, The Daily Mail reported that Katy is in “crisis talks” with her team to combat the backlash over the Dr.Luke-produced single, with the outlet reporting that she’s “freaking out.”
