Kelly Clarkson’s iHeartRadio Music Festival performances over the years have been notable. The Voice coach last graced the stage at the festival in 2018, and since then, fans have been hoping for another appearance. Well, the singer’s supporters finally have something to smile about. With the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival only a few months away, iHeartMedia and Fox have announced their first round of performances. Thankfully, Clarkson made the list. The songstress will be sharing the stage with other iconic musicians including Lil Wayne.
Kelly Clarkson Made the List
Five years after her last performance, music lovers will be seeing Kelly Clarkson at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this year. In a statement released on Tuesday, Chief Programming Officer, Tom Poleman, revealed they were particularly excited about 2023’s lineup. According to him, the festival is the only event in the world with various genre ranges. Poleman said the ranges span all the styles heard on the 860 iHeartRadio stations and app. He further noted that each performer is iconic in their own right and could sell out. So, the chances of seeing them together on the same stage are incredibly rare.
In another statement, John Sykes, the President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia described the event as the most diverse festival in music. He expressed excitement about getting “a Best in Class” group of superstars to perform at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Sykes wrapped up the statement by noting that for the first time in their 13-year history, they are proud to partner with Hulu to bring the unforgettable live show to millions of fans across the country.
