Kelly Ripa caught shade last month as users on Instagram seeing her workout session basically deemed her too light. The talk show host, 54, had husband Mark Consuelos lifting her during a fun workout on Live!, one shared to Mark’s feed and quickly attracting comments.
Kelly, who referred to her body as a “Peter Pan” one in 2019, looked fitter than ever, showing off her ultra-toned frame in a spandex look as she limbered up. Stretching herself every which way and eventually going all couple’s yoga with Mark, Kelly impressed fans with her strength, but for some, she’s just too skinny. One user commenting felt that Kelly was easy to lift because she “weighs nothing.” The mom of three has always been slender, but lately, some have been deeming her too slim, even encouraging her to put on a few pounds.

Lying on her back and with Mark holding her arms, Kelly kicked off The Titanic Challenge with her feet on the floor.
Looking incredible in black leggings that highlighted her super-toned legs, the mom of three kept sporty with a sweater up top, and she was about to get busy. Swinging her legs slowly toward her co-host husband, Kelly had Mark using all his strength to support her, and even more so as she entered into a somersault but turned it into a mid-air moment.
Mark, known for his buff physique, eventually lifted Kelly up, allowing her to shift her body weight with her feet resting on his thighs. The Riverdale actor kept things up as Kelly slowly raised her body, much to the crowd’s excitement.
Fans Suggesting She’s Too Skinny
In a caption, Live! wrote: “@crunchgym’s @MarcSantamaria shows us how to do the #TitanicChallenge @kylerussell_peakfitness.”
Quick to criticize Kelly’s shape, one fan replied: “I’m sure it helps that she’s super tiny and weighs nothing.” Possibly voicing a similar thought, another wrote that Kelly “needs some groceries.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Kelly has been targeted for being super-slim. When The Daily Mail covered her fitness reveal back in 2019, one user replied: “She could gain weight and have a more feminine body if she would eat more and cut back on the obsessive exercising.”
Kelly works out six days a week, putting in a ton of effort with trainer Anna Kaiser. The former actress, who is alcohol-free, eats a balanced diet and adores oatmeal, apple, and nut butter breakfasts, salads, and lean proteins. For some, though, she clearly isn’t eating enough.
