Kelly Ripa‘s Instagram fans had a lot of questions as she updated her account with a photo of herself fast asleep and in bed with husband Mark Consuelos. The 52-year-old talk show host posted the photo back in April 2023, seemingly offering an insight into snooze time in her household.
While plenty of likes came in and cohost hubby Mark himself commented, users had endless questions about the snap, one also peeping hints of the couple’s $27 million NYC townhouse.

The image showed Kelly and Mark with closed eyes and asleep as they lay in their bed. While Kelly wore a simple white nightshirt, Mark twinned with his wife in a white tee. Fans saw the couple’s fancy white linens and colorful, embroidered cushions at the foot of the bed with “I WANT TO BE WHERE PEOPLE AREN’T” written across them.
Also enjoying a snooze on the bed were Kelly and Mark’s dogs, Chewie and Lena.

In a caption, Kelly told her fans: “Severe prep work in progress.” Fans have left over 79,000 likes.
Quickly topping comments with his joking reply was actor Mark. “That was a clip from our Only Fans feed,” he said.
Also commenting was Kelly’s trainer Anna Kaiser. “Wait. Who took this picture?!? 👀” she asked. ” I was thinking the same thing,” a fan replied.
Echoing the thought, a separate user asked: “But who took the photo……” It’s possible that one of Kelly and Mark’s children might have taken the snap. Together, the 1996-married couple is parents to kids Michael, Lola, and Joaquin. In fact, one fan jumped to just this conclusion as they wrote: “One of their kids.”
Kelly and Mark are known for their regular Instagram PDAs, including some pretty high-level flirting. The former All My Children costars met in 1995. One year later, they eloped to Las Vegas and they’ve been happily married ever since.
In 2020, Kelly likened her long-lasting marriage to a “marathon.” Speaking to viewers, the mom of three stated: “You’re going to fight, you’re going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages are not sprints, it’s a marathon. There’s going to be like, mile 24, when you’re like, ‘I quit.’ But you just got to push through. Just push through.”
