Kentucky Man Slams Stay-at-Home MAGA Moms for Contributing to High Diesel Prices: ‘Trump Did That’

Uh-oh, shots fired

As gas prices continue to rise, one former Trump supporter from Kentucky grew increasingly disillusioned with the Trump administration and recently went viral for lambasting people who remain “MAGA” or Trump supporters. However, it appears the Texas man had a particular beef with stay-at-home MAGA moms for trying to endure the situation that the Trump administration supposedly created.

Instagram user Blake Reynolds from Kentucky is the man in question, and early in May, Reynolds posted a clip of his rant in a gas station. In the video, Reynolds points out that a gallon of diesel in his state now costs $5.50, leaving barely 3/4 of his pickup truck’s tank full, even after spending $150.

“And ya’ll wonder why some of us are pissed off,” fumes Reynolds, adding that “We use our trucks to make a living… I don’t need a single stay-at-home MAGA mom telling me, ‘I’ll deal with it a little bit longer if it makes us better as a nation,’ shut up!” Reynolds didn’t exactly make it clear why he singled out the single MAGA moms in his complaint, or whether it was based on his experience or not.

Regardless, the Instagram user’s post has gained millions of views and no shortage of commenters who agree with his sentiments. To cap off his rant, Reynolds added the caption, “We used to put Biden stickers on gas pumps over this [expletive].” Back in 2024, however, it seems Reynolds was a double Trump voter, even posing beside Donald Trump Jr. at a Republican convention.

People online are also blaming the Trump Administration

The Kentucky man certainly found plenty of people who agreed with him in his video’s comment section, with many also voicing their own woes about the economy and the gas. One of them even pointed out that “This is the highest I have ever paid for gas!! Groceries are the highest!!! Can’t afford my medications. Is America Great Again yet???”

Others couldn’t help but point fingers, saying, “TRUMP DID THAT” as some kind of response to the Instagram user singling out the MAGA moms. Meanwhile, some have already gotten pessimistic about the situation and want to alert others, “This isn’t short term , this will be long term pain.”

Critics in X, however, have also argued against the Instagram user, even going as far as defending the Trump administration by claiming, “Hey buttercup, Biden and Obama had gas prices almost $5 a gallon everywhere and I doubt you said a word about it.” Reynolds himself got blamed for driving a diesel pick-up truck, “Driving a diesel PU is your problem, you are competing with large trucks for the same fuel supply, thus paying $2 more a gallon for very little gain makes ZERO SENSE.”
