Kevin Costner continues his search for the third and hopefully last Mrs. Costner. More than eight months after finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgatner, the veteran actor is back on the market. He has been linked with several women but a recent sighting with another Hollywood icon has fans thinking he has found the one.
Over the weekend, Costner and actress Sharon Stone reportedly got super cozy during the 2024 Governors Awards at Dolby Theatre. Sources claimed the pair were “openly flirty,” not minding those around them. According to a witness at the ceremony:
“They started off polite with small talk then he put on his Kevin Costner charm, you know, like the vibes he gave off in Bull Durham and Tin Cup, like heyyyy baby.”
The informant further told the Daily Mail, “Who knows if they went home together or even exchange numbers? But it certainly looks like they liked each other a lot.” The insider described the Basic Instinct actress as a “class act,” revealing that she handled the flirty attention from Costner with grace. “She winked at him and was sweet,” they added.
Both Costner and Stone are in similar relationship boats at the moment. She was previously married to Phil Bronstein, a San Francisco newspaper editor, but they ended their six-year marriage in 2004 following a nasty divorce. Bronstein, due to her experience, defended Costner during his divorce from Baumgatner in 2023. Speaking up about the bag designer’s outrageous child support request for $160K a month, Stone said her ex-husband “thought the same.”

The news of Costner and Stone’s flirty encounter spread like wildfire and fans online are already rooting for them.

It comes as no surprise that fans are shipping Costner and Stone given that they only have a 3-year age gap. Weeks ago, the Yellowstone alum was seen hanging out with athlete Rainy Castaneda, 30, after the death of his character on the show.
