Kids Prize Pack is a great subscription box for the kids! They offer a new theme each month and finds the best books, toys, games, and activities based on that theme and puts a box together. A box that encourages reading? Amazing!
Another thing I really like about this box is that you can personalize it to your child. They have four categories to cover girls and boys from ages ranging from 4-8 and 9-12. So it’s not a “one size fits all” box.
Cost: Kids Prize Pack is $34.99/month and there are other options to get a small discount by committing to longer terms. You can find the pricing information on their website.
Coupon/Savings: Use the code ‘RISKFREE when ordering to get an extra 10% savings plus free shipping.
We are going to take a look at the April and May boxes. They sent us a box for boys in April and a box for girls in May. So we can see examples of both. First, let’s look at the box for boys…
The theme for April was Amazing Nature. The box included several items focused on weather and then some fun stuff to go with it.
The book that came with the nature-themed box was 100 Most Destructive Natural Disasters. I would be lying if I said I wanted to read the book too! If you like to hear about natural disasters and are intrigued by storms (like me, as long as I’m not in the middle of one) then I think this would be a great read. Hopefully, it’s not too scary since it’s a kids book, right?
Take at look at this! A Green Science Weather Science Kit? Do you see why we love this box? So educational!
Now, a little fun game of Road Trip Bingo to go with the box. When we get to take a road trip, we’ll have to try it out!
The box also included this Clip-On Compass by Toysmith. This will definitely be handy for our next hike.
These para cord bracelets are the bomb! (Or as my 8-year-old says, the bomb.com!) A very popular item and I don’t think they were all the same so you could have gotten a different color.
That wraps up the April 2017 Kids Prize Pack for boys. Let’s now take a look at the May 2017 box for girls with a theme based on Toysmith Toys and Games.
I forgot to mention there is always a magnet showing the theme with each box.
American Girl has been around for a long time making the lives of little girls happy. They have dolls with accessories you couldn’t imagine and they also have books and movies. The book for this box is the American Girl story of Tenney by Kellen Hertz. These stories always seem to have a life lesson built into each one.
This Paint Your Own Mini Piggy Bank was included with this box. I can see little girls loving the opportunity to paint their piggy bank and then start filling it with change.
This Light-Up Zoomer Rang was also included. If you press the center, it lights up!
This is pretty cool. It’s a Parafoil Kite! The manufacturer describes it this way:
The Parafoil Kite is the perfect take-along to the beach or park. This 20″ long kite features a 14-foot tail and a handy storage bag. It has bright vibrant colors and includes string and winder. No assembly required. Colors may vary.
How fun is this? Sidewalk Chalk Spray…You can draw on the sidewalk and you don’t even have to get the chalk on your hands. Pretty cool!
And that’s it for the May Kids Prize Pack for girls. If you’re looking for a subscription box for your child but want to get more than just collectible stuff and t-shirts, then Kids Prize Pack is the box for you. It’s a fun, educational experience!
They are taking orders for the July’s Gaming and Friendship themed box.
