Welcome to the town of Gallows Creek! Folks around here are enjoying the good days of the 1980s, especially with the entertainment stirring from Forrest Nash’s late-night radio personality. But not everything is smooth and rockin’, however. There appears to be a serial killer within the region that’s causing quite the trouble. What exactly is going on out there, and how can we assist? More so, how can the one Forrest Nash help in this grisly situation?
To answer these, the gameplay trailer for Killer Frequency dives into a good chunk of the game. We’re presented with a variety of first-person puzzle-solving mechanics, from helping callers to make decisions to discovering new clues. Of course, there’s the interactive radio setup for players to mess around with as they select their favorite synthwave tunes. The footage is attached above for you to check out.
In addition to the problem-solving features, VR enthusiasts can play Killer Frequency through the Meta Quest 2 headset. It is set to display the graphics at a 72 frame-per-second, which will provide a “latency-free experience”.
Players can expect Killer Frequency to pop up on the air sometime this summer of 2023. It’ll be available for PC and Meta Quest 2. Steam users can wishlist the title now to stay up-to-date with its upcoming release.
