The spotlight is currently on sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, all thanks to a parenting decision. Over the weekend, the reality TV stars engaged in a funny war of words after Kim called Khloe out for letting her son, Tatum play on the couch with his shoes on. Recall that during the KUWTK era, Khloe had an issue with the Kardashians wearing shoes on the couch. The star even called Kim out during one of the episodes. Due to past occurrences, Kim couldn’t help but playfully slam her sister’s hypocritical behavior. Khloe didn’t stay silent as she engaged in the banter with the perfect response.
The Genesis of Kim and Khloe Kardashian’s Banter
Khloe has always been an outspoken critic of the Kardashians wearing shoes on the couch. But recently, the socialite broke her no-shoes-on-the-couch policy and Kim seized the opportunity to tease Khloe about her double standards. The mother of four took to her Instagram Story a few hours ago to repost a photo from Khloe’s Story. The snapshot showed the Good American co-founder’s daughter True and one-year-old son, Tatum, relaxing on a sofa. In the picture, True had her bare feet on the couch as she watched her iPad while Tatum wore sneakers while playing next to his sister.
“Wow Wow Wow! What a hypocrite @khloekardashian is! I want to see if anyone knows why,” Kim captioned the photo.
The SKIMS founder followed up the post with two increasingly zoomed-in screenshots of Tatum’s sneakers digging into the couch’s fabric. Kim wrapped up the posts by noting that having nice couches made her realize the importance of not wearing shoes on sofas.
“Do better @khloekardashian 🤣🤣🤣,” she finished.
Khloe Fires Back At Kim
Kim’s playful shot at Khloe’s hypocritical behavior was enough to get the latter’s attention. Shortly after, the mom of two took to her Instagram Story to repost Kim’s close-up picture of Tatum’s shoes on the sofa. Khloe accompanied the photo with a fireback at Kim, writing:
“OMG you are insane! lol these are brand new shoes lady! You’re sick!”
In the next slide, Khloe added:
“Brand f***ing new!!!”
She also responded to Kim’s post about realizing the importance of not wearing shoes on the couch. Khloe wrote:
“I really feel like you finally understand the nastiest of this habit!! So I feel good about this.”
Ultimately, the playful banter served as a reminder that, despite their fame and fortune, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, at their core, share a relatable bond.
