Kim Kardashian left fans with questions as she updated her Instagram with a night-time swim snap in August 2023. Posting to promote her best-selling SKIMS brand, the 43-year-old reality star showed off her sizzling figure in a skimpy two-piece while posing from a pool, but she wasn’t exclusively met with praise.
Showing off her 2022 weight loss as she continues to turn heads for looking slimmer, Kim rocked a tiny gold bikini as she went snappy with her “nite swim” caption. Despite earning herself over 4 million likes, she still had fans challenging her.
Kim Kardashian Goes SKIMS Swim On Instagram
Plugging her 2019-founded brand in a jaw-dropping snap, Kim posed standing square in front of the camera while thigh-deep in a swimming pool. Enjoying her late-night shoot, the mom of four lifted both her arms up as she placed her hands near her head, accentuating her figure as a result and impressing fans with her gym-honed abs.
Choosing a halterneck two-piece in gold as she went high-waisted with her briefs, Kim flaunted her 24-inch waist and curvy hips, reminding fans that despite having dropped 21 pounds, she’s still got her famous curves.
‘Nite Swim’ Raises Questions
Sporting her brunette locks down as she glammed up with a warming face of makeup, Kim drove fans to swipe, where she returned for a close-up before sharing snaps of herself in her swimwear and with a bicycle as a prop.
“Nite swim in Puglia,” the mogul wrote. Fans were quick to comment. “Doesn’t look like much swimming was done,” one fan said, with over 200 others agreeing. Also popular was a fan suggesting that the Hulu favorite has gone under the knife. “Who’s her surgeon? He did a great job,” they said. While Kim has admitted to having fillers, she’s always vehemently denied having plastic surgery.
“Night swim? With makeup and dry hair? More like a photo shoot,” a further fan wrote. Despite the low-key backlash, Kim likely walked away from the post as the winner. Her SKIMS empire is largely believed to be behind the bulk of her $1.8 billion net worth, and fans of the shapewear and clothing brand are even getting a brick-and-mortar store soon.
“When I said I wanted seamless shapewear, everyone looked and thought that I was crazy,” Kim told Harper’s Bazaar.
“The thing that always bothered me [with other brands] was that there would be a seam up the front. You would have this really tight dress and then see this seam, defeating the purpose of wearing something that is supposed to look like there is nothing underneath. I’m all about comfort and glamour at the same time. I always think you can do it all, so why not have everything that you need as far as your products?” she added.
