Kim Kardashian has sparked complaints as her latest Instagram post shows her modeling the newest SKIMS collection. Shortly before the weekend, the billionaire mogul posed with Canadian swimwear designer Olivia Pierson, with the two twinning in skintight outfits as they posed for a sunset shoot.
While diehard SKIMS fans were keen, others slammed the post, alleging that Kim had heavily edited the images. The 43-year-old, who has not responded to the backlash, was accused of using Photoshop, with a popular comment calling her out on it. Despite the hate, Kim still gained over 900,000 fan likes. Celebrity likes were left by mom Kris Jenner, sister Khloe Kardashian, and close friend Paris Hilton.
Kim Kardashian Stuns Instagram In New SKIMS
Sending out carefree summer vibes from an ocean-facing deck, Kim flaunted her famous curves in a sleeveless, skintight dress in brown. Opting for a sleeveless finish, the ex to Kanye West turned heads with her tiny waist, also highlighting her iconic curves in her floaty number.
Meanwhile, Olivia modeled a separate Milky Sheer look as she rocked a sheer top paired with a ruched skirt and train. The duo, both made up and looking glam, struck a similar leggy pose in the opening photo, with further photos showing them modeling their outfits from a yacht balcony. “Sunsets in @skims ! Our new milky sheer collection just dropped. skims.com,” Kim captioned the share.
Fans Have A Major Complaint
Gaining over 200 likes was a fan writing: “So much photoshop. Your little person legs and your real face are truly popping through.“
Low-key implying that Kim has undergone cosmetic surgery, another said they liked the “natural” girl “on the right.” Kim, who has admitted to using fillers and Botox, has always denied going under the knife. “Has anyone else had enough of these two?” was another popular comment.
Kim is likely paying no attention as her 2019-founded brand is now valued at $4 billion. Many believe the shapewear and clothing company to be behind much of the reality star’s $1.7 billion net worth. SKIMS was initially called Kimono, but after cultural backlash from Japan, the brand had to swiftly revamp both its name and its image.
Shortly before her Milky Sheer SKIMS post, Kim updated with another cash-earner. She posted a new campaign for Balenciaga as she continues her ambassador status with the controversial designer.
Kim is followed by 362 million on Instagram.
