However, she thinks the procedure is impacting her career.
Kim Kardashian Says Botox is Interfering With Acting Gigs
Kim and her family have taken over the world with their reality series and business ventures. Yet, they’re always looking for their next project. For Kim, her latest passion project is acting.
The star has made cameo appearances as herself on TV shows throughout the years. But her biggest acting gig came in 2023 on American Horror Story: Delicate. Kardashian earned rave reviews for her role as Siobhan Corbyn on the FX series.
Since then she’s received many offers for other roles. On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim revealed to her friends she was starring and producing a comedy movie called The Fifth Wheel. While it was a joyous milestone in her new career journey, she admitted to some concerns.
During a conversation with her friends, she confessed that Botox is interfering with her career.
I feel like you need less Botox for more emotion and I don’t have it. I’m not going to be gaining 500 pounds for a role and losing it…that’s just like not where I need to be. How am I going to cry? How am I going to be scared out of my mind?
As for how long she plans to continue acting, the star has a plan.
I can do a movie a year, I’ve got about 10 years where I still look good, so that’s all I’ve got in me, and then I’ll take some time off…That’s my 10-year plan.
While the 43 year-old thinks Botox is a hindrance, PR expert Brian Balthazar tells Fox News, it shouldn’t be an issue. Balthazar points out that many celebs do Botox, but it doesn’t impact their performances.
They’re still getting work, they’re still crying on command. We’ve gotten accustomed to performers having perfect, wrinkle-free skin. That’s not without help. I can’t see that being a huge issue. What it will come down to is if she can deliver convincing performances.
Kim Kardashian can do anything she sets her mind to. Although she’s worried about her looks impacting her acting career, with her popularity, she’ll have no trouble landing auditions. She’s shown she can pull off any role, and it’ll be interesting to see her next performance.
