Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Insists You’re a Nudist & Players are Tired of the Constant Outfit Undressing

It’s not a crime to display devotion to the Swoly Bible

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is making waves in the RPG genre, though some players don’t know how to feel about the fact that the game keeps undressing its protagonist, Henry. Such gameplay quirks wouldn’t have been a problem, but Kingdom Come Deliverance 2‘s outfit system is somewhat tedious to set up. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 simply can’t stop leaving Henry in a state of undress, no matter how shiny his armor is.

The sentiment (or complaint) came from a disgruntled Reddit user who got fed up dressing Henry, again and again, eight times after the game kept taking off his armor due to the story. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 fan and Redditor u/GORPS__ posted a somewhat angry complaint a few days ago about how the game keeps taking off his armor and clothing and leaving Henry in a state of undress. This will then necessitate setting up outfits, which can take several minutes per outfit.

The post has since blown into popularity in the subreddit and many players agree that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has this annoying tendency to undress Henry. In one of the game’s consecutive cutscenes short scenarios, Henry is even undressed 3-4 times in the span of around one hour either after getting drunk, getting tortured, sleeping, or having his gear stolen as per the story.

It doesn’t help that each of the three outfit presets in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has around 20 gear slots and the game doesn’t save them, so you have to put the gear on manually each time the game undresses Henry. Multiply this by three and then by at least eight times, and that’s how many times you can expect to be Henry’s personal tailor because the game keeps undressing him.

Bug or Feature?

There’s a chance that the constant undressing could be a bug. After all, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was just recently released. Because in one of the main quests, the game will automatically re-dress your character as though you saved the outfit preset. Too bad this appears to only happen once.

Still, many players can’t help but yearn for the feature to save the outfit preset so that the game remembers it each time it undresses Henry. Unintended interaction or not, some have already accepted the constant undressing as the game’s inside joke.

Where Is Pebbles in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 notably makes fun of Henry and, by extension, the players by playing prank quests on him and turning him into a political punching bag (sometimes literally). So intentionally turning Henry into a nudist is not exactly outlandish– what’s one more humiliation for him?
