Konosuba: From Season 1 and Beyond
The first season of the main television anime premiered in January 2016, followed by the second season in January 2017. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan. The Konosuba – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World – Legend of Crimson anime film debuted in Japan in August 2019, with Crunchyroll and Fathom Events screening it in the United States in November 2019.
The Konosuba light novel series, focusing on the adventures of Kazuma, a shut-in student who reincarnates into a fantasy world alongside the goddess Aqua, concluded with its 17th volume in May 2020. Akatsuki also penned the spinoff novels, which Mishima illustrated. A spinoff series, which began in 2014, consists of three novels and two sequel series novels.
Yen Press is responsible for publishing the original Konosuba light novels, as well as Masahito Watari’s manga adaptation, in English. Additionally, the company handles the English releases of the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spinoff novels and Kasumi Morino’s manga adaptation.
The franchise expands beyond anime and novels, encompassing various manga adaptations and several video games.
