Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s son Rocky has recently celebrated his first birthday. With that came a fun birthday party for the family. However, some fans have been ripping Kris Jenner for the gift that she gave her grandson. The family is known for going above and beyond for birthdays, but Kris seems like she didn’t understand the assignment this time. Her gift, while interesting, isn’t really something a one-year-old can enjoy.
According to the Daily Mail, Kris Jenner got her grandson a handwritten letter from none other than Rocky Balboa himself, Sylvester Stallone. The one-year-old was named after the fictional character, but even so, is that really a gift a baby can enjoy? It seemed as though many believed it was a “stupid” idea. Fans then doubled down as they said, “What a tacky present.”
Some fans even took to the article’s comment section to continue to talk about the birthday gift.
“What a tacky present,” one said.
“So stupid. Honestly. Rocky is a fictional character,” wrote another.
Finally, one fan stated, “I might be the only one, but I kind of think it’s cute.“
It would seem most fans are not big on the gift. However, some may be slightly fond of the idea.

The handwritten letter included Stallone saying that his name was also Rocky. The actor continued by stating that a person’s name is very special as it identifies incredible things. He also added that life will have many challenges and that the child will have to face them with dedication. Sylvester wrapped the heartwarming letter up by saying to never give up on your dreams and for Rocky to always value his family. He then signed the message and shipped it off.
Kris Jenner also took to Instagram to write a special birthday message to her 13th grandchild. Jenner expressed how much she loves Rocky and that she can not wait to watch him grow into a man. She continued by saying she is extremely lucky to be his grandmother. She then tagged Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. It was also reported that Jenner hosted the child’s birthday party per family tradition.
Pictures of the birthday bash then surfaced, and fans could see the Disney-themed party. The party was complete with Mickey Mouse balloons as well as a merry-go-round. Along with Rocky, Travis and Kourtney blended families with Penelope, Mason, and Reign Disick. Alabama, Landon, and Atiana Barker were also in attendance.
It seems like Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian put together a fantastic party for little Rocky despite Jenner’s slightly strange gift to the child. The family appears to be as happy as ever as the kids continue to grow up together.
