Kourtney Kardashian squeezed her curves into the tiniest of minidresses for this year’s Met Gala After-Party, and her look didn’t come without comments. Showing off her figure in a minuscule strapless minidress as she attended the bash with husband Travis Barker, the 45-year-old looked confident with her fashion choice, but not everyone was impressed.
When The Daily Mail included photos of Kourtney in an article covering 37-year-old actress Blake Lively‘s look for the night, users went right for the Poosh founder. Many inferred that she’d shopped too small, with some of the most-liked comments saying that she should learn to “accept” that she’s curvier now, and shop accordingly.

Going corset-style in a houndstooth minidress by designer Thom Browne, Kourtney left little to the imagination with her plunging bustier neckline and thigh-grazing length.
Rocking shiny dark fabrics as she upped the party vibes, the TV favorite sizzled with her leggy display, and admittedly, it didn’t look like she could have gone any smaller. Looking fierce in heels as she wore her dark locks down and glossy, Kourtney reminded the cameras that she’s living her best life as she held 48-year-old Travis’ hand, with the couple seen exiting an establishment with a red outdoor carpet.
Keeping glam, Kourtney wore a heavy layer of foundation under blush and bronzer, also going dramatic with her dark eye makeup.
Told To ‘Accept’ Larger Size
Fans have largely proven supportive of Kourtney rocking a slightly curvier figure. That said, fans seeing these photos did seem to think she should have factored her shape into her dress choice. Shop a similar corset minidress below for under $18!
“Kourtney needs to accept that she’s a bigger size and start buying a size or two. Wearing a dress too small makes you look big not thinner,” one said, with over 600 others agreeing. “Kourtney…give it up love. Even one size up would have looked (and been!) more comfortable,” another wrote.
Kourtney went through several rounds of IVF in 2023 as she and Travis attempted to get pregnant, although the couple lucked out by conceiving naturally after quitting IVF. Meanwhile, sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, plus Kylie Jenner, have been making headlines for their weight loss.
Also of the opinion that Kourtney needed a larger dress was a fan saying: “Kourtney needs to allow her stylist to start ordering the bigger size now. Face up to facts.”
Kourtney is looking better than ever at 45. Fans also seem to think she’s happier than ever. In November 2023, she and Blink 182 drummer Travis welcomed their first son Rocky. Kardashian continues to co-parent her first three children with ex, Scott Disick.
