Kwalee has just released its annual report indicating that the company has recorded over 969 million downloads this year alone. The top UK-gaming publisher has also shared that they have increased their yearly revenue by 12% in 2022. Also, the company has shared that this year, they introduced 12 new titles and created and tested 258 new concepts of hyper-casual games.
Roadmap into the 2022 900+ Million Downloads on Games on Kwalee
In a press release by Leamington Spa, UK, on Gamepress, Kwalee released their 2022 milestone today. Additionally, the publishers have shared some insights into their expectations in 2023.

- Airport Security becomes UK’s Top Free Games of 2022 and a global hit
Airport Security has become one of Kwalee’s games, with great downloads this year. The game, published in 2021, has attracted over 59 Million downloads on Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The franchise attributes this success to a finding released in February listing Airport Security in the top ten most installed games on Google Play that month.
- Teacher Simulator earns the franchise 37% of 2022 Revenue.
The hypersim game sim by Kwalee is one of its greatest hits this year. The team shares that purchases from the game contributed to 37% of the total annual revenue. In turn, the game has become 2022’s most valued game in Kwalee.

- Draw It and Object Hunt are the next most valuable games of 2022
After Teacher Simulator, Draw It and Object Hunt have also taken a top spot in the Kwalee charts. The two games have received among the highest game installations. Draw It records 112+ Million installs, while Object Hunt has over 54 Million installs.
Kwalee shares that they receive 90% of their revenue from the adverts they publish. The company adds that their customers this year have mainly been iOS players at 52% compared to their counterpart Android players at 48%.
Amidst this year’s success, Kwalee plans to expand its portfolio on Mobile mobile hyper-casual, casual, and PC and Console games in 2023. After recording 900+ million downloads this year, the company will partner with more developers for their business prosperity next year.
