Nearly four months have passed since the news of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s separation broke on the internet. Despite being apart, the pair have managed to abstain from any controversy. Away from the camera, Richards and her husband are seemingly focused on making themselves better. According to a recent update, the duo is going for therapy, albeit separately. Although many are questioning Richards and Umansky’s therapy, it is a welcomed development, as it might just help the estranged couple settle their differences.
New Details About Richards and Umansky’s Separation Revealed
Amid Richards and Umansky’s separation, the status of the duo’s relationship continues to raise eyebrows. A few days ago, reports revealed that the couple wasn’t considering going down the divorce road soon. In many cases, couples without a divorce plan typically consider couples therapy sessions or marriage counseling to save their marriages. However, according to a recent update, Richards and Umansky are doing things differently. On Thursday, sources with inside information told TMZ Richards and Umansky were going for therapy, but separately. According to the informants, Richards and her former beau wanted space to explore individually.
In addition, the source shared that the RHOBH star and real estate expert weren’t working on the problems that led to their separation. Nevertheless, the insiders confirmed that there were still no talks about a divorce, and neither was a reconciliation certain.
Is There Hope for a Reconciliation?
Speculations about a reconciliation between Richards and Umansky have been making the rounds. However, nothing is set in stone, as sources revealed that the couple was still undecided.
“Look, they may get back together, but they may not. They just don’t know right now. They will decide at some point whether they stay married, but not now,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Umansky has said they won’t give up. In an interview with Access on Friday, he revealed he and his wife had been married for long, and giving up wasn’t an option.
“We’ve been married for 27 years. It’s been an amazing 26 years. It’s been a rough year, but the truth is, you don’t throw in the towel that quickly,” Umansky said.
In the coming months, fans hope to see the duo walk through the challenge and emerge victorious.
