But although the couple had no immediate plans to go down the divorce road, they still harbored divorce thoughts.
Meanwhile, there are speculations that Richards and Umansky are still holding on because there is no prenup in place. Recall that Richards is a staple on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with millions of dollars to her name. Kyle Richards Uses the Word “Divorce” for the First Time Since Her Split
The update comes a few days after Richards publicly referred to her split from Umansky as a “divorce” for the first time. During an interview with the press at BravoCon, Richards reflected on how the difficulties she had faced, including her split, affected her.
“Losing my best friend to suicide changed me. Going through my divorce, all that has made me stronger,” Richards said.
However, after the interview, Richards clarified that she misspoke. According to her, using the word “divorce” instead of separated, was a mistake. Richards then shared that despite being apart, she and Umansky were still amicable. To the RHOBH star, she and her husband were still a love story.
