The dynamics of Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet‘s relationship continue to baffle fans. Despite dating for more than a year, the lovebirds rarely step out together as a couple. Hence, when the actor’s big moment came on Tuesday, at the premiere of A Complete Unknown, fans expected to see Jenner by her man’s side. Unfortunately, Chalamet, who stars as Bob Dylan in the biopic, walked the red carpet solo.
Now, sources say that while Kylie missed the big event, she supported her man at the after-party. Eyewitness says the makeup mogul arrived at the event with her mother, Kris Jenner, and remained glued to her man’s hip for the rest of the night. The low-key lovebirds were reportedly “pretty affectionate with each other,” not minding the guests. At one point, Kylie was seen sitting on Chalamet’s lap while they hung out in his roped-off VIP section. Attendees say the couple shared a quick kiss with her arm around his shoulders. The duo couldn’t keep their hands off each other even while mingling with the actor’s co-stars.
Sources tell People Magazine that the Kylie Cosmetics founder was “often” touching the Wonka star and “playing with the hem of his jacket.” They later exited the party hand-in-hand. Although there are no photos of the couple’s PDA moments, Chalamet’s voice coach, Eric Vetro, posted individual pictures with them, proving Kylie was indeed at the after-party.

Unfortunately, that was not enough to quiet the trolls who still label their relationship a PR stunt.
“If they can make a big deal out of Timmy and Kylie, why not just claim her publicly and let it stop being such a big deal?” one critic urged.
“If there’s no pics, then it didn’t happen. Like, come on, can they stop faking it already?” a second comment read.
“They are a publicity stunt. No pics of this PDA at the after-party. None of this is real,” an angry third fan penned.
“Will this contract ever end?? Can’t wait for the day when I don’t have to endure this fake ass relationship anymore,” a fourth remark read.
Fans’ dissatisfaction comes after close insiders predicted that Kylie wouldn’t walk the red carpet with Chalamet. “Timmy’s team wants the focus to be on him and the transformation he underwent for the role, not Kylie,” the source explained of the decision. Luckily, the socialite was understanding of the arrangement as it is something she is used to. In December 2023, she attended the LA premiere of Chalamet’s Wonka but didn’t walk the red carpet with him.
