Most older people have more problems remembering their passwords and email. Usually, the younger ones help the older ones retrieve their data. Although many social networks and services require email and multiple passwords, it is difficult to remember them all. Also, even though some browsers can save data, sometimes it won’t “match,” and we must face the dreaded “Forgot your Password?” option. This Los Angeles influencer demonstrates better than anyone how we all feel when trying to beat the diabolical captcha. Sometimes, this option doesn’t want to cooperate.
The video belongs to actressbecc’s TikTok, where she often shares various skits on different topics. In the latest of her videos, this Los Angeles-based influencer shows how painful it is to try to retrieve a password and deal with the annoying captcha. Even when a user knows all their information, for some reason, the site decides that your password is wrong or that your email does not have a linked account. This leaves as a last resort “Forgot your Password?” having to use your same email address and wait for who knows how long for the code to reset the information.
After getting the code, the users must decipher an intelligible code, select all images with a tiny part of a bus, or slide precisely one image part to its place for the captcha.
The worst is when you don’t know if the box that has one pixel of the traffic light counts 😭

Of course, I also failed to mention to check the box to prove that you are not a bot.
Cause why am I proving to a f***ing robot that I’m not a robot??

This shows how some systems are not very user-friendly even though they try to keep our information secure. Besides, the process is often complicated and annoying. Hopefully, at some point, these password recovery systems will become easier to use. Like I said before, sometimes, even knowing all your data, these systems don’t work anyway, leaving us stuck.
