Lala Kent is known for keeping things real on Vanderpump Rules. So, it shouldn’t surprise you to hear that she recently shared interesting statements about some of her Bravo co-stars. During an episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Lala, 34, spilled it all, and her comments are leaving watchers ready for more. So, what did she have to say?
Lala and Ariana Are Still Not Good
If you caught the last season of Vanderpump Rules, then you already know Lala and Ariana Madix aren’t in a good place. Their rift began during the latter half of Season 11. After Madix’s career blew up following Scandoval, Lala’s jealousy began to show. She spoke poorly about Ariana’s situation with other cast members and during her confessional interviews.
At the time, Ariana wasn’t aware of how Lala really felt. However, the reunion special brought it all out when the producers aired an unseen clip for the first time. Ariana broke down in tears, saying Lala’s comments “hurt” her “feelings.” Although Lala seemed to retract her statements, she doubled down on them in June 2024. “I have a hard time when people think that they are bigger than the show,” she said.
She made more waves in October 2024 on Jeff Lewis Live when she said she wanted nothing to do with Ariana again. When asked about their relationship, she said there wasn’t one, and a reconciliation would “never” happen.
And her feelings haven’t changed.
On WWHL, she told Andy Cohen the same thing: “We don’t speak,” she said. However, she did give the Broadway star and Love Island host flowers. “But she’s killing it, and I’m thrilled about it. And I mean it.”
Lala Had to Block Jax on Social Media
Another interesting part of Lala’s conversation about her Vanderpump Rules co-stars was the revelation that she had to limit her interactions with Jax Taylor on social media. When Andy asked where she stood with him today, she paused before saying, “I had to block him.” However, since their children go to the same school, Lala said they will occasionally say “what’s up” to each other.
For longtime fans of the show, it’s likely shocking to hear that Lala blocked Jax, considering the roles are typically reversed. It’s a known fact in the Bravoverse that Jax is quick to block someone on Instagram. In the past, he’s blocked Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, and Ariana. Most recently, though, he blocked his Valley co-star, Luke Broderick.
The incident was discussed during Season 1 of the show; however, their problems only worsened as the batch of episodes went on.
Cast members have discussed Jax’s social media antics before. On the Bravo After Show, a few of the stars laughed about their experiences. “I think we’ve all been there,” Sandoval said, referring to being blocked. “It’s like a rite of passage,” Scheana added. Even a producer chimed in. “I remember when he blocked me,” they said.
Even though VPR is still on pause following Season 11, fans can still get more of Lala. The mother of two filmed scenes for Season 2 of The Valley, which is rumored to premiere in 2025. So, will her feud with Jax be shown? Or will watchers have to wait until their next interview? We’ll all have to tune in to see.
