Famed comedian Larry David told the whole world exactly what he thought of former U.S. president Donald Trump in an interview for CNN’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” The Curb Your Enthusiasm creator has never shied away from slamming Trump, no matter if he’s being broadcast on national television or not.
“How much has the 2020 election — and everything that has flowed from it — p*ssed you off?” Wallace asked David.
Trump is Sick
David didn’t have to think too hard about his reply.
“Can’t go a day without thinking about what [Trump has] done to this country because he’s such a little baby,” he said.
“He’s thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of [the election]. I mean, it’s so crazy. He’s such a sociopath. He’s so insane. He just couldn’t admit to losing. And we know he lost! He knows he lost!” David continued. “And look how he’s fooled everybody. He’s convinced all these people that he didn‘t lose. He’s such a sick man. He is so sick,” he added.
“Anyway, no, it hasn’t impacted me at all,” David quipped.
David isn’t the first to have a personal vendetta against the 45th president and he certainly won’t be the last. It’s no secret that Trump is either loved or hated universally without much gray area to work with. He went viral in 2021 for confronting lawyer Alan Dershowtiz, a former member of Trump’s defense team.
“Larry David walks in to buy some groceries. I say, ‘Hey. Hi, Larry,’ and he turns away, and he just walks away. I say, ‘Larry, can’t we at least talk?’ He said, ‘No. You’re disgusting,’” Dershowitz said of the encounter. “He called me disgusting, and he said he could never talk to me. Here’s a guy who used to come to our house to work out in the gym. He would come to our house for dinner two or three times a summer.”
Curb Your Enthusiasm is currently airing its 12th and final season on HBO. Meanwhile, David’s full interview on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” streams today, March 29, on Max.
