Larsa’s Bikini Photo Caused a Bigger Stir Than Usual
Although the reality star is no stranger to a bikini pic as a Miami resident, the mom of three still seemed to surprise fans with Wednesday’s photo. The since-deleted shot showed Larsa leaning back in a beach chair in a tiny black bikini, leaving little to the imagination.
Commenters called out the photo, not only slamming her for being so “provocative” as a mom but also because they believed they spotted a Photoshop fail — noting the pixelated appearance of her bare bikini area.
The RHOM Star Insists the Comments Weren’t Why She Took the Photo Down
Larsa Pippen spoke with PEOPLE about the controversy around her photo and its subsequent deletion. She told the outlet that her dad urged her to take the shot down.
She explained:
“My dad sent me a text yesterday and said, ‘You published a photo and I think you need to take it down.’ And when my dad texts me stuff like that, I listen!”
Larsa continued to explain that she’s always the one “pushing the envelope,” which can be challenging for her more conservative family.
“I think my dad got wind of all the stuff that was being put out there,” she admitted. “My family’s really traditional and old-school — I’m the one that’s always pushing the envelope with them, you know? So when he texted me that, I just deleted it.”
“I just didn’t want to upset him,” she leveled. “It wasn’t worth me not making him happy at that moment.”
