The misconception that age difference was the reason for Larsa Pippen‘s split from Marcus Jordan has been circulating for some time. However, according to the reality TV star, that isn’t true. A short while ago, Pippen was a guest on a podcast where she spoke candidly about her break up with the former college basketball player. As opposed to the rumors that she and Marcus Jordan split because of the 16-year gap, the RHOM star revealed that time away from her former boyfriend made her realize she was on a different path.
Age Difference Wasn’t a Factor in Larsa Pippen’s Split from Marcus Jordan
Pippen has finally opened up about her break up from Jordan, and it turns out that the age difference had nothing to do with it. Recall that Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan broke up a few days ago, one month after rekindling their romance. During her appearance on the latest Amy & T. J podcast episode, the TV personality shared that being away from Jordan for some time gave her clarity.
“I just wrapped up shooting the show and I spent time away from him and everyone else,” Pippen said.
According to her, she was away for two weeks, and it made her see that Jordan wasn’t the man for her.
“I think when you’re alone, you kind of really either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy, and I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy,” Pippen told hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes.
Responding to whether their age gap played a role, Pippen clarified that it didn’t. According to her, it was a matter of being on a different journey, and she felt the need to be true to who she was and what they were doing.
“I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me,” Pippen added.
How Is Larsa Pippen Doing Post the Breakup?
Larsa Pippen is recovering well from her split from Marcus Jordan. However, the star has admitted untangling her life from the 33-year-old hasn’t been easy.
“It’s hard sometimes to break up because you are so used to living with the person, we had our podcast together, we worked together, I had him on Housewives,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Pippen said she believes she and Jordan will be friends eventually. This is becuase they were friends for three years before they started dating. In the meantime, the 49-year-old says she’s focusing on herself, her children, her business, and personal growth.
