Larsa Pippen has caused drama on Instagram by posing in a glitter two-piece with teen daughter Sophia Pippen. The reality star, 50, updated her account with a family photo in June, one attracting over 76,000 likes but nonetheless sparking criticism.
While some fans gushed over Larsa’s hot pink crop top and skirt combo, others focused on Sophia, with one of the most-liked comments suggesting that she was looking “uncomfortable.” Larsa, who split from ex-husband Scottie Pippen in 2018, shares all four of her children with the former NBA player.

Looking her usual glamorous self, Larsa wowed in a hot pink, rhinestone-studded crop top and matching skirt as she channeled Barbiecore vibes.
Flaunting her curvy waistline as she and 15-year-old Sophia posed from a glamorous terrace, Larsa stood next to Sophia, who towered above her mother while rocking a chic black minidress. A geotag placed the duo at Sofia Miami Design District, with the photo opening a gallery of social snaps that included Larsa with her various girlfriends.
In a caption, The Real Housewives of Miami star wrote: “Had the best time celebrating the launch of @larsalight. Thanks for all the support Dress: Jessica Bara sage studded crop top and maxi skirt.” Larsa has this year launched into the lighting space as she capitalizes on her social media presence and perfect Instagram snaps.
Fans Think Daughter Looks ‘Uncomfortable’
Over 60 fans have now agreed with a comment reading: “She finally took a pic with one of her kids and the daughter looks uncomfortable.”
Appearing to agree, another replied: “U can tell she don’t wanna be there look at her not even smiling and uncomfortable.” That said, some were of the opinion that Larsa, who regularly posts photos and videos of her kids, had created a totally okay vibe.
“She didn’t finally take a pic w/ her kid 🙄 She posts pics w/ them on her stories regularly,” one user fired back.
Larsa doesn’t just pose with her kids. It looks like the Chicago-born star is very generous when it comes to giving them spending money. In March, she made headlines for defending her decision to gift Sophia $2,500 as an allowance, per Daily Mail.
Speaking to Bravo host Andy Cohen, Larsa explained her reasoning, stating:
“You guys understand, like, L.A. is super expensive. So, like, after school, she orders food or Uber or, like, you know, buys presents for her friends’ birthdays. And Sophia makes money. You know, I have a deal with Fashion Nova, and they gave her a deal, and she was the face for Oscar de la Renta.”
