Disney announced its new Haunted Mansion movie back in August 2020, and after having a hard time in development its release is almost here. Today, the trailer for the latest installment in the Haunted Mansion franchise has been released on Disney‘s YouTube. It shows fans the same spooky and scary vibes as the old movie back in 2003, even showing the same old Mansion we all know and love.
Haunted Mansion Release Date
Haunted Mansion will release in theaters on July 28 according to the new trailer. The movie will star LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto. The movie is also being produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Rideback, and it will be the second adaptation based on the ride.
As fans watch the trailer and soon watch the movie, they will see many similarities and easter eggs between the 2003 film and the 2023 film. It has been 20 years since we’ve had Haunted Mansion on the big screen, besides The Muppets Haunted Mansion movie in 2021. However, it is obvious that Disney is bringing fans another hit to the franchise. We will see once the movie hits theaters on July 28 and soon after comes to the Disney+ subscription service.
