Lea Michele‘s son, Ever, is visiting the hospital for the second time in three weeks as she returns to ‘Funny Girl’ on Broadway. This comes after the doting mom skipped work to be with him at the hospital.
Lea Michele welcomed their son, Ever Leo Reich, with her husband, Zandy, in 2020. Though it was her first time, she immediately fell in love with the tiny creature. Michele was open about how smitten she had been since becoming a mom. In a previous interview, she said:
“I feel like it definitely has softened me a lot and I probably could have used a little softening, and he really is just the thing that has changed me the most and I’m so grateful.”
Michele and Zandy did not have a child before welcoming Ever. The on-screen star tagged her son a “surprise miracle.” This not only made her happy, but it inspired her to make music.
She selected eight cover songs including Kacey Musgraves’ “Oh, What A World.” In the end, Michele made a lullaby album.
Watching her son grow with ultimate passion has been her favorite thing to do. She has shared countless photos of her mini-me but refused to show his face. Even with her famous career, Lea Michele hopes to shield her son from the public, sharing just as much as feels like.

Lea Michele’s 2-Year-old Son Is in the Hospital as She Gets Back on Broadway’s ‘Funny Girl’
In an Instagram story, Lea Michele announced that her son, Ever, was back in the hospital over a “scary health issue.” The “Glee” alum posted a photo of the toddler in a wooden crib, before accompanying it with words that gave up her experience.
Michele explained that as parents, being strong for offspring is not negotiable. But that does not mean showing emotions is out of the question.
The mother-of-one wrote about how hard times make her appreciate the good times. Despite the lesson learned, it never eases the pain. Michele ended her write-up with honest words that read:
“It’s been hard to say the least but our boy is such a champ and is going to be ok.”
Little Ever was captured sleeping in his crib with his hands rolled in a fist. The toddler was covered with a blue flannel, and his mom exposed only his hair, covering his face as usual.
About two weeks ago, the Broadway “Funny Girl” star asked fans for “love and strength,” after explaining that she would be out. Lea Michele mentioned that she had to visit the hospital with her son following a “scary health issue.”
Being with her son meant Michele would be absent from her Broadway show. Throughout the entire health scare update, the actress has refused to share the cause of Ever’s hospitalization. But that has not stopped fans from reacting with compassion.
A few hours ago, the doting mom posted a snap of her and Ever at the seaside. The sun’s rays flashed on their skin as the mother-of-one cradled her toddler. Fans trooped in with supportive messages via the comment section. Many wished Ever a speedy recovery.
