The holiday season is upon us, which means it’s time for League of Legends annual Snowdown event!
In keeping with tradition, developer Riot Games will be releasing a bevy a new and old content. Players can expect some new skins, locked legacy skins temporarily available, the return of Trials of the Poro King (a game mode from last year’s event), and even new minion skins.
As for the new skins, recently released champion Bard will be sporting some new threads alongside adorable little penguins and warm cocoa.
Champion Gnar will also be getting a special Snowdown skin.
Lastly, Syndra will be getting in the holiday spirit with her own Snowdown skin.
Snow Day Bard and Snow Day Syndra will cost players 1350 Riot Points (purchasable currency) while Snow Day Gnar will cost 975 RP. It’s important to note, the Syndra and Gnar skins will be unavailable for purchase after the event, being locked in legacy.
Trials of the Poro King will be returning to the Howling Abyss Map! The previously released game mode pairs players with adorable poro companions as they battle the enemy team while calling for assistance from the Poro King. If it sounds crazy, that’s only because it is.
The Snowdown event is expected to being late November/early December and will last all through the month of December.
Justin is the very definition of an aggressively average gamer. He will only settle differences by means of children’s card games or 1v1s on Howling Abyss.
