In Touch Weekly reports that Leonardo DiCaprio hasn’t been a good friend to Jack Nicholson in recent years. The men the strong friendship and bond they formed while filming The Departed together. “Leo always raved about what a mentor Jack was to him,” an insider dished about their relationship.

Sadly, these days, Nicholson, 87, isn’t getting out much. The actor who was once seen sitting courtside at several Laker games, hitting the red carpet, and partying with other A-listers, is no longer living the Hollywood lifestyle.
“Jack’s at a stage of his life where he could really use people checking in on him more often,” the source stated. “He’s become a recluse. The days of him throwing parties or sitting courtside are long over, and a lot of the Hollywood types seem to have just put him out of their mind, including Leo.”
“The sad thing is Leo’s so wrapped up in his own world these days that he’s let their connection totally fall by the wayside. He still talks about him like he’s this big part of his life, but the truth is Leo doesn’t really see him or have time for him anymore,” the informant added.
The insider went on to reveal that many believe that Leonardo DiCaprio is in the wrong for not being more active in Jack Nicholson’s life. “He’s made zero effort,” says the source.
