Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti’s summer vacation has taken an unlucky turn. The Hollywood hunk and his younger woman are currently on a European getaway with friends, including fellow actor Tobey Maguire. During a recent yacht day in Italy, the Titanic star suffered a humiliating run-in with sea life.
DiCaprio and Ceretti were enjoying a dip in the sea in Sardinia when the actor rushed out of the water and called out for help. He hopped aboard the yacht and called the attention of a staff member to an injury he suffered below his derrière. Photos obtained by TMZ show The Great Gatsby star raising his black swimtrunk to show the mark while Ceretti examined it. A male staff member later attended to DiCaprio, spraying a solution on the bruised spot before drying it with a towel. It seems the Oscar winner was stung by a jellyfish during his water adventure.
However, DiCaprio didn’t allow the stinging incident to disrupt his vacation with his younger girlfriend. The lovebirds were soon seen laughing it up before heading back into the water. For weeks now, the pair have enjoyed a wet and wild summer, and they aren’t pumping the brakes anytime soon.

DiCaprio and Ceretti’s steamy vacation comes amid the couple hitting the one-year mark in their relationship. The duo was first linked in August 2023, enjoying an intimate stroll in California while sipping iced teas. The Wolf of Wall Street star was getting out of a fling with model Gigi Hadid then. Dicaprio and the 26-year-old wasted no time getting strong, with sources confirming his adoration for her.

The insider’s words were confirmed when the Italian model hung out with her boyfriend’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, in September 2023. Could Ceretti finally be the one to take DiCaprio off the market?
