Lies of P: All Editions & Pre-Order Bonuses

Round8 Studio’s highly anticipated Lies of P is out in a little over a month. The action RPG is loosely inspired by Carlo Collodi’s novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. It also draws similarities to FromSoftware’s line of Souls games. It is poised to be one of this year’s hottest releases, having already nabbed several accolades from last year’s Gamescom Awards. With its September 19 release rapidly approaching, it is time to consider which edition of the game to pick up. Thankfully, we are here with a guide to all available editions of the game, as well as any pre-order bonuses you can get.

Pre-Order Bonuses for Lies of P

Lies of P will launch on most major consoles, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also hitting PC through Steam. However, regardless of which platform you choose to begin your steampunk adventure on, you will receive the same pre-order goodies. However, the Standard and Deluxe editions offer different bonuses for purchasing early.

For pre-ordering any edition of Lies of P, you will obtain an entire costume to use in-game. The “Mischievous Puppet’s Clothes” dressed the humanoid protagonist known as Pinocchio in an old-fashioned orange shirt, some green-striped britches, and a Victorian collar. You also get the “Parade Hat” to wear, which looks like a yellow traffic cone. Whether you grab the digital standard or deluxe edition of the game, these fancy clothes are all yours.

The Deluxe edition of the game also adds the added incentive of Early Access for pre-ordering. If you grab that edition, you get the game a whole 72 hours early, allowing you to play on September 16.

Lies of P: Standard Edition And Deluxe Edition

Now that you know what you can get for pre-ordering, you need to decide which edition of Lies of P to get. The game comes in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard edition clocks in at $60 and offers the base game. You also get the pre-order costumes noted above if you purchase before release day.

The Deluxe edition of Lies of P comes in at a cool $70. It offers the base game and pre-order bonuses like the Standard edition. However, you also get the Early Access pre-order bonus. As well as the pre-order bonuses, you also receive “The Great Venigni’s Signature Coat and Glasses” wearable items. Plus, you obtain the “Mask worn by those preparing for the festival” to put on your character.

GameStop Exclusive

Along with the Standard and Deluxe editions of Lies of P available for pre-order, Round8 Studios is offering an exclusive physical Deluxe edition through GameStop. This edition, also $70, gives you everything that comes with the Deluxe edition. It also gives you a limited-edition steel bookcase for the game. Plus, a physical hardcover art book and a copy of the game’s original soundtrack are included.
