Lily Allen continues to defend her decision to join OnlyFans as criticism mounts. The singer joined the adult content platform earlier this year, sharing photos of her feet. Unfortunately, fans can’t seem to understand why someone of her status is doing such a thing.
Allen answered fans’ questions during an interaction with a troll. On Friday, the English songwriter took to X to promote more feet pics for her OnlyFans. She uploaded a collage of four images showing different angles of her feet with a variety of nail polishes. “Haven’t posted in a while, but you can still check out the archive,” she captioned the post, which caught the attention of a critic. “Imagine being one of the biggest pop stars/musicians in Europe and then being reduced to this,” slammed the disappointed fan. In response, the Smile singer wrote:
“Imagine being and artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on spotify but earning more money from having 1000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
Allen didn’t get into the exact figures, but her message was received. “I mean, I hate it bc I want the music, but I respect the hustle. Get that bag, mama,” praised one fan.
Lily Allen Calls OnlyFans ‘Empowering’ & ‘Fun’
Since joining the platform, the London native has been open about how selling pictures of her feet helped her fight her demons. In a July episode of her Miss Me? Podcast, Allen confessed:
“I’m finding this actually quite empowering. Because, having been very sexualized from an early age and literally, everybody else in the process is profiting from that sexualization.”
The 39-year-old noted that being in “power and control” of the situation has been “fun.” Despite the pros, Allen admitted that her profile often received weird requests from subscribers. “Toe spreading is a big, big thing. They really want to see me spread those toes,” she remarked.
