Olivia “Livvy” Dunne is in Paris, France, for the Summer Olympics, and she appears to be having a great time. She recently decided to post a bunch of photos on Instagram of her trip. This includes a short video of her visit to the Eiffel Tower, a picture of her posing on her balcony, and snaps taken from the inside of the Olympic arena (this includes a photo of herself taken from behind while she sports a sweater with an American flag).
She captioned the picture with a cryptic message, writing, “Pardon my french…” which is open to interpretation. The post has only been up for an hour, but fans have already reacted to it in the comment section. While there are messages praising Dunne’s beauty, there are other remarks that are less kind.
Some of the reactions include, “How funny Paris is my favorite country too. Just one more thing we have in common Wow,” and “French queen.” But there have also been questions about why she did not compete.
Why Didn’t Livvy Dunne Compete In The Olympics
Fans of the Summer Olympics would have noticed that Team America included Simone Biles, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and Hezly Rivera, who won gold. Livvy Dunne’s fans have been curious about why she was not on the team.
“did she make the Olympic team?” a fan wrote. Another shared similar thoughts, writing, “Why didn’t you compete????” Fans reacted to this comment, but the reactions were mixed. “she’s generous and gave everyone else a chance at gold,” one fan replied. “cuz she isn’t good enough dude,” a critic wrote.
Earlier this year, Dunne commented on her Olympic dreams (or perhaps lack thereof), telling New York Post, “So I do have eligibility for a fifth year, which I haven’t decided yet.” She continued, “I am thinking about it… But I do have eligibility [for another year at LSU].“
“I don’t think I’m going to try for the Olympics or anything after, since I once competed for Team USA and I closed that chapter and went to LSU.”
It’s still great to see her behind-the-scenes photos from the Olympic games, though, right?!
