Lootaku is a monthly subscription box filled with geek and gamer loot. This is our very first Lootaku review and we’re excited to share it with you.

Cost:  $44.99/month plus shipping and handling

Theme: Death

What comes in the box?:

Lootaku

This image came from their website and shows what is typically included in a Lootaku Box.

Again, this month, Death was the theme and Dark Souls, Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach were featured. Let’s take a look and see what was inside!

Lootaku

Banpresto DXF Dark Souls Sculpt Collection Faraam Knight – This figure is an Asia exclusive limited release item that won’t be available in stores until July! Subscribers were very fortunate to have this in their box! It’s very quality made with intricate details.  If you’re into statues and figures, and you like Dark Souls, then you would love this.

Fullmetal Alchemist Alphonse Elric 8″ Plush by Great Eastern Entertainment – This plush is from Fullmetal Alchemist (which I don’t know much about).  I’m not a huge fan of plush toys, in general, but if you play Fullmetal Alchemist and like this character, you might like the plush.

Fullmetal Alchemist Edward Elric’s Pocket Watch Replica – Also from Fullmetal Alchemist, we have this pocket watch replica.  It’s a nice little watch that has “Don’t forget 3.Oct.11” engraved on it.  Does anyone know the significance of that date?

Bleach Sword Replica with Stand Hyourinmaru – I can see why the theme was death.  I think you could truly hurt someone with this replica of the sword of Hitsugaya Toushiro, the 10th Division Captain.

Fullmetal Alchemist Human Transmutation Circle Coasters (Exclusive) – These exclusive ceramic coasters are cool whether or not you’re a Fullmetal Alchemist fan or not.

Bleach Pin  Gotei 13 – 13th Division – This pin represents the 13th division of Gotei.  Each of the 13 divisions has a symbol.  This division’s symbol is “hope.”

This box was filled with some nice, quality merchandise mostly from FullMetal Alchemist and Bleach.  I’m not familiar with these but I would bet that there were some happy subscribers when they opened their February Lootaku boxes.

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
