If you’re planning on moving to an apartment, keep in mind that some neighbors may have the brain cells of a toddler. Some tenants, clearly the mature ones, may try to resolve conflicts quietly and come to an understanding smoothly. Others not so much. Imagine hearing your neighbor throw a massive tantrum outside your door just because you sent out a complaint about a mere noise disturbance. One Los Angeles resident recently had to listen to her neighbor lose their head because they couldn’t handle it.
A woman living in LA, who works as a photographer, had filed a noise complaint against her neighbor, and the latter didn’t take it well. They went to the woman’s unit and started yelling outside and at times striking her door. The neighbor shouted a stream of threats and insults, insisting she had lived there for decades and warning the tenant, who stayed quiet inside while recording, to “stay out of number four.”
At one point, the neighbor dared the woman to come out, saying, “Bring your a** on outside. Yeah, f**k you too. I’m sick of you d**n gossiping.” The noise continued as they accused the photographer of gossiping and trying to get people evicted, adding that “no man gonna marry no motherf**king gossiping b**ch.”
Here’s What People Are Saying about the Los Angeles Neighbor Confrontation
Viewers encouraged the woman to show her video to the management as evidence of harassment. “Straight to the leasing office with that video. That’s harassment,” one person commented. Another agreed, urging, “You can actually show this video immediately to your leasing office and they will serve them with an eviction notice… this is harassment and potentially dangerous.”
Some also worried about her safety. “Hey I would call 911. This is threatening and I would say you want a wellness check because of erratic and dangerous behavior,” one commenter wrote. Someone else observed, “Why does he kinda sound like LonnieBee but sounds kinda drunk. Hope you stay safe.”
