WEtv viewers have been anxiously awaiting the return of their favorite Love During Lockup reality series. Felon Fridays are back with six new couples and a lot of drama. The sneak peek trailer reveals interesting pairs with wild stories to follow. Relationships are hard, but making it work with one partner behind bars is an even bigger challenge.
These couples will go above and beyond to keep their relationships alive according to Starcasm. But just like in seasons past, only some people they are associated with want to see things work out for them. Some are willing to go to great extremes to protect their friends and family members from making what they believe is a life-altering mistake.
Love During Lockup couple Teenie and Rob’s story is unique. They have been married for more than 16 years. The Youkom, Oklahoma pair have made it work for one reason: Rob can access a phone. He keeps tabs on and interacts with his family through the numerous in-home cameras that they have installed throughout their home. The trouble is his addiction surveillance is out of control.
Is Love All They Really Need?
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, pair Ayonna and Jamahl are in a messy situation. Ayonna is a mom and exotic dancer who stole her best friend’s man. She also has issues with his family, who want nothing more than to tear them apart. Andrew and Candice from Greenwich, New Jersey, have an Andy-and-Brittany vibe. Andrew is in deep with her. He spends thousands preparing everything for them to be together after her release.
Next up are Rick and Samantha from Gilbert, Arizona. Here, we have a Love After Lockup Louie-and-Melisa situation going down in reverse. Former high school sweethearts that reconnect. Hopefully, neither has a meddling mom. Joey, from Boise, Idaho, has a steady job and a hot romance with his incarcerated boyfriend, Michael. But Joey still lives at home with his parents, and he hasn’t entirely told them everything he has going on with his love interest.
Kansas City, Mississippi, Shonta is head over heels for her fiance, True. She is all about keeping her man happy—so much so that she is uprooting her life, taking on two mortgages, and spending over $30K on him. They have been together for two years, but she never visited him in prison. It sounds like she may be keeping some big secrets from him. Season 5 of Love During Lockup sounds like a wild ride.
