Irina Solomonova Apologizes For Her Nasty Attitude
Love Is Blind’s Irina Solomonova is trying to make amends for her past behavior on Netflix’s reality show. Irina Solomonova apologizes not only to all those she “mistreated” but also apologizes to those who got offended while watching.
“The first thing I want to say is that I have privately apologized to the people that I have hurt and mistreated,” she began in an Instagram video on Sunday.
“Second of all, I wanted to say I am so, so, so sorry for the people that watched the show that felt frustrated, angry, and hurt by the way that I was mistreating people on the show. It was very immature and naive of me in a lot of those situations,” she continued.
The embattled TV personality specifically apologized to castmates Zack Goytowski, Bliss Poureetezadi, Amber Wilder, and Jackelina Bonds. She also apologized to Micah Lussier, who people labeled the second mean girl alongside Irina for her catty behavior.
Irina further added that “none of those people deserved to be treated the way that I treated them,” and she knows her actions were wrong.
She ended by saying that she is actually someone that wants to make people “feel seen” and felt like she acted the “exact opposite.”
The 26-year-old said being on the show made her see her see herself in another light. She added that she is still “processing everything that happened.”
Irina’s Followers Reject Her Apology
Unfortunately for the media personally, most of her followers didn’t seem to believe her emotional plea. Many even claimed it didn’t seem even “slightly authentic.”
“What? Sorry. I only heard, ‘I’m posting this so I don’t get fully canceled and this is all about me,’ lolol,” one person commented. Another asked people to use them as a dislike button and quickly racked up over 4000 likes.
A third follower suggested that Instagram add a “downvote option,” while another wrote, “I feel like you’re only apologizing because of the backlash you got on social media but hopefully you can grow and learn to do better and treat people same way you want to he treated.”
Someone also suggested that the LiB star apologized because she didn’t want the bad press to affect her business. They also claimed that Irina got the apology written for her.
During the first half of Season 4, Irina and Micha came under fire for their lack of empathy. The duo kept laughing at some of their female co-stars while they were crying while still in the pods.
Irina also feuded with Bliss as they tried to win over the same man. She also made a pass on Micah’s fiancé, Paul Peden.
Meanwhile, after getting engaged to Zack, Irina called him “creepy,” saying he looked like a “cartoon character.” The pair eventually called off their engagement.
Love Is Blind’s Irina Solomonova apologizing is a great start to making things right. Hopefully, she will learn from this and do better, as she claimed in her video.
