Season 7 of Love Is Blind has reached its end, but things aren’t all peachy for the cast members—especially Nick Dorka. The real estate agent from the DMV area had a tough experience. First, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place in the pods. Most of his connections fizzled out; however, it looked like he struck gold with Hannah Jiles.
The pair eventually met up in real life, where they locked eyes for the first time. After that, Nick and Hannah took their relationship to the next level in Mexico. Unfortunately, that’s when the tides began to turn. Their bickering continued and followed them back to DC, where they called their wedding off.
Fans of the show didn’t see much else from them throughout the season. However, the reunion finally brought them together and provided watchers with the drama they had been waiting for. Nick attended, wearing a simple black suit with chunky white shoes. Hannah, on the other hand, had quite the glow-up, showing up in a striking red gown. She also showed off her impressive weight loss. The reality star did speak about weight in the pods, where she admitted she lost 40 pounds. So, naturally, the topic of looks came up during the reunion special, and that’s when Nick was put on blast.
Did Nick Dorka Really Like Hannah from Love Is Blind?
Once Nick and Hannah’s segment arrived during the LIB Season 7 reunion, the female cast members wasted no time coming for Nick’s neck. One of the biggest topics of conversation revolved around Hannah’s appearance. According to several cast members, Nick spoke poorly about Hannah’s looks during their all-cast trip to Mexico. Marissa George said Nick called his then-fiancé a “grenade.”
In case you need a refresher, Jersey Shore cast mates popularized the term “grenade” in the 2010s. It’s used to refer to the least attractive woman in a group setting.
However, Nick declared confidently that he never spoke negatively about Hannah’s looks. During an interview with Vulture, he shared more, saying his words were taken out of context. The Netflix star revealed that he was “underwhelmed” with Hannah’s appearance. However, he stood by the fact that he never called her “ugly” or a “grenade.”
Nick Doubles Down on His Feelings About Hannah’s Image
He also spoke about the claims that he told other cast mates he wasn’t attracted to Hannah.
“I might have had a conversation off-camera with Ramses that was meant to be guy to guy. He told me some stuff. I told him some stuff. It was never, like, throwing shade at Hannah. We were just being real,” he said.
Later, Nick admitted that all of the men, including Ramses Prashad and Garrett Hoseman, shared their opinions. “All the guys, we’re like, ‘She’s a little less attractive than we thought,” he said. He continued, saying they didn’t believe she was “ugly,” just “not what we expected.”
Now, the season is over, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Nick and Hannah. Either of them could pop up on a future season, another reunion, or a spin-off show like Perfect Match. Until then, we’ll just have to stay tuned to see what these two are up to next.
