The majority of people just want to get through their workday so they can go home and rest, yet some entitled individuals bizarrely feel the need to disrupt the flow. Those individuals are none other than Karens and their male counterparts, one of whom claimed ownership of an entire road in California before crashing out. It all went down when a FedEx driver was making his way through a neighborhood when a moustached man stopped him, telling him to go elsewhere. The driver refused to comply, to which the man angrily responded by giving him the bird.
“Lunatic blocks the road,” the FedEx driver remarked, posting a video of the incident on r/Fedexers. But simply blocking the road wasn’t the male Karen’s final form. “Proceeds to have a full on meltdown,” the driver continued, before laughing things off with, “Thanks for the laugh angry old man.” One person asked what the enraged man’s deal was, to which the FedEx courier replied, “He thought I wasn’t allowed to drive on “his” road with my FedEx van. Even though, road work crews let me pass.”
Fortunately, the driver wasn’t as hotheaded and relaxed in the van listening to music while the man raged outside. One commenter recalled how they, too, encountered quite the individual during their FedEx-ing. In their story, the recipient was upset because they didn’t wait long enough at the door to get a signature. As a result, the man drove out to the van, got out of his car, and blocked the courier from moving. “I called my manager and honked and waited for the guy to finally step aside. There’s some crazy people out there!” the Redditor exclaimed.
It would appear the interaction didn’t escalate into anything beyond an annoying inconvenience for the driver, fortunately, as no one got violent, minus the angry man getting handsy with the van. It just goes to show that some people’s entitlement knows no bounds, with this male Karen feeling entitled to a whole road.
