Machine Gun Kelly‘s rocker pal Travis Barker reportedly played a significant role in his rekindled romance with Megan Fox. The rapper credited his friend for putting in all the work to salvage his relationship with the actress. MGK and Fox now have a baby on the way after their romantic reunion. According to an insider, the artist describes Barker as a friend with a good influence on his life. Sources close to the rapper disclosed that he looks up to Barker due to his sobriety and life experience. About finding his way back in Fox’s good grace, the informant said:
“Travis has been in Hollywood and the music scene for decades. He’s also screwed up his fair share of relationships, so when MGK came to him complaining about getting dumped by Megan, he didn’t give him a lot of sympathy. It was all tough love.”
Barker reportedly advised Kelly to sober up and convinced Fox to leave room for reconciliation. He then moved to sort out the couple’s differences once he saw that Kelly had started acting right. The lovebirds reportedly “got into therapy” and were able to make things work.

The reconciliation bore positive results as the actress announced her pregnancy with their first child in November. The actress shared the big news on her Instagram with two pictures. The first captured her swimming in black oil while cradling her baby bump. On the second slide was an image of her positive pregnancy test.
The insider admitted that the couple may have never made it back if it was not for Barker’s efforts. The artist is reportedly so grateful that she gave him another chance. Their time apart also gave him the strength to get his act together and be the man she deserves. Another source told In Touch that the “baby is a dream come true.” Their children are equally excited about the pregnancy and promise to help when the baby arrives.
As we reported earlier, the baby news comes one year after Fox shared that she and Kelly miscarried. Although she did not disclose the exact timing of the incident, the experience left her heartbroken. Fox noted that she has “never been through anything like it” in her life despite previously welcoming kids.
She explained that the experience brought them together and also separated them at the same time. MGK has Casie, 15, from a previous relationship. Megan shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. Brian, 51. He welcomed a baby boy with fiancรฉe Sharna Burgess in June 2022.

The actor uploaded a picture of a burning envelope and captioned it with lyrics from Beyoncรฉ’s Lemonade album. “You can taste the dishonesty; it’s all over your breath,” the message read. However, the real culprit was not another woman; instead, it was the singer’s wild lifestyle. A source close to the couple claimed Fox pulled the plug because MGK was going out of control.
The rapper revealed he was one year sober back in August. MGK achieved the milestone after his first visit to the rehab, which he joined in 2023. He was motivated to get clean after conversing with his daughter, Casie. He shared that the talk with Casie broke his heart but ultimately made him a better dad.
