The second Madden 24 closed beta began on July 12 and will last until July 17 at noon ET. During the week of the closed beta, EA Sports will be sending out invitations to the beta via email. You must sign into EA’s mailing list to potentially receive an invitation to the Madden 24 beta.
Follow these instructions to receive EA’s emails:
- Go to the official EA website and create an account if you haven’t already.
- Log into your account and find Email Preferences.
- Checkmark the box to agree to receive emails from EA about its services and news.
From there, check your email daily to see if EA will send you an invitation to the closed beta. Since EA constantly sends out emails, you may have to check your Spam. There are no guarantees that you will gain an invite to the closed beta, but EA sends out invitations every day during the week of the beta, so be patient if you don’t receive one on the first day.
What Can You Play in The Madden 24 Closed Beta?
The closed beta for Madden 24 gives players early access to the game before its full launch. Betas and early access allow players to test the game for companies to see if any bugs need fixing before it launches. However, since the beta isn’t the full game, you will have limited access to certain features in Madden 24.
Beta players will only have access to four game modes of Madden 24.

Players can access the game’s online capabilities and play with friends. This new closed beta fixes an input lag when playing online, an issue plaguing the original Madden 24 beta.
