A Texas TikToker and activist has come under fire for posting a video in which he appeared to encourage people to pop ICE agents. The man said people should protect their immigrant neighbors from immigration officers, but many conservatives condemned his remarks as dangerous and accused him of inciting violence.
In the video, the activist wore a hat that read, “Immigrants Make America Great,” a play on President Donald Trump’s MAGA slogan. The hat also featured the Mexican flag.
The man claimed that immigrants who entered the country illegally were only trying to build a better life and did not deserve to be targeted. He urged viewers to “start defending and protecting” their neighbors even if they had to “start popping” ICE agents.
He suggested that people could claim they had targeted the “wrong person” if questioned.
“We really got to start protecting our neighbors,” the activist said. “These are masked men in unmarked cars. You know, no body cameras. Going after the wrong people.”
MAGA Reacts to the Texas Activist’s Video
The video drew heavy criticism from many conservatives on X. “Being a democrat is a special kind of stupid,” one person remarked. Another commented, “This is what President Trump would refer to as a low IQ person, but this one is dangerously deranged.”
A third said, “He needs to be held accountable for inciting violence against federal agents.” A fourth added, “We should deport him too so he can be with his friends.”
Some also said his remarks could attract law enforcement’s attention. “Popping ICE agents. Sounds like he might get a visit from the FBI,” one comment read. Someone else wrote, “He might think it’s a joke until he’s been accused wrongly of any ICE agents [that] is pooped [sic].”
Meanwhile, the activist appears to have some supporters on TikTok. The video has received more than 15,000 likes on the platform, with netizens leaving comments such as, “Yes I was thinking the same thing exactly,” “I stand with you brother,” and “Alright king, I’ll follow.”
In addition to the recent post, the activist has shared multiple videos criticizing ICE and calling for its abolition.
