A Maine wedding has gone viral on TikTok after videos showed a woman arriving uninvited, confronting members of the wedding party, and allegedly attacking the bride-to-be. The incident escalated to the point where police were called, criminal charges were reportedly filed, and the bride later said she sought a protection order. The dramatic family dispute has since sparked millions of views and widespread debate online.

The footage was reposted by TikTok account @original_ghettogaragetv, although the people involved have also shared videos from their own accounts. The woman accused of crashing the wedding, @makenzielee_, posted her perspective, while Jenlee Hicks and the bride, @shawna_nadeau, also uploaded videos explaining their side of the Maine wedding incident. Together, the clips have amassed millions of views across TikTok.

The viral footage shows the woman recording herself as she arrives at the Maine wedding despite not being invited. The confrontation quickly becomes heated as family members repeatedly tell her to leave. The situation later allegedly turns physical, with Jenlee Hicks sharing photos that she says show the aftermath of the altercation.

In the comment section, the bride shared additional context about the family dispute. She alleged that her family had been no contact with the woman for about two years due to what she described as a pattern of abusive behavior spanning more than a decade. According to the bride, the harassment resumed after the woman learned about the wedding and insisted on attending despite not receiving an invitation.

The bride also explained that the woman is married to her brother. She said she respected her brother’s decision to remain in the relationship but chose not to have contact with the woman herself. She added that her brother and nephew were welcome at the wedding, but she believed inviting the woman would have risked disrupting the ceremony. The bride later said she pressed charges, obtained a protection order, and made those decisions to protect herself and her family.

Maine Wedding Sparks Heated Debate

The video’s comment section was split, with many viewers debating who was in the right after the Maine wedding confrontation. Some said that regardless of the family history, no one should attend a wedding if they were not invited, arguing that the couple had every right to decide who could be present on their special day.

Others questioned the family’s actions instead, with a few saying they would have reacted differently if the dispute had involved an immediate family member. Several commenters also pointed out that multiple people involved had shared their own versions of events, leaving viewers unsure what to believe. “She posted a very different scenario. Said the charges were dropped and she went to counseling to get over her PTSD. She said there were cameras all over the property, which is why she rolled up recording. IDK. Small town drama,” one user wrote.

Many commenters admitted they were confused by the conflicting stories and joked that TikTok had once again dropped them into the middle of someone else’s family drama without any context. Others focused on lighter details, commenting on the wedding attire, joking about being “uninvited guests” themselves, or saying they would have stepped in to defend the bride if they had been part of the wedding party.

What was meant to be a joyful celebration instead became one of TikTok’s latest rabbit holes, complete with multiple viewpoints, police involvement, and enough family drama to keep viewers scrolling.
