Male Karen Curses At Judge And Gets Two Years In Jail: ‘He Can Be Sovereign Citizen Of His Jail Cell Now’

I hope it was worth it

Truth be told, there isn’t such a thing as being a Sovereign Citizen in the United States. In fact, when you look it up, you only find the Sovereign Citizen Movement, in which anti-government extremists quite literally believe that they are separate from the country that they live in. One of these strange people decided to use what he’s “learned” as a Sovereign Citizen to curse out a judge while he was on trial. It’s a good thing the internet is an archive, and the video was reposted to Reddit for everyone to see.

Sovereign citizen gets two years for contempt of court

The video showcases a man on trial alongside what is assumed to be his attorney. Before anyone can speak, the man on trial continues to repeat something about how the court is “holding up” his time. The judge overseeing the trial immediately takes offense to this and calmly explains to the man what’s going on. Instead of being a regular human being and listening to the judge, the man immediately begins to interject, stating that he can’t wait to leave the country.

As the judge tries to interrupt him to explain further, the man curses him out. In fact, he does it several times, amounting to six Article 93 actions against him and two years in prison. The situation is incredibly ridiculous, and fortunately, many of the commenters below the video agree. Many of them joke about how the man will probably regret his actions in a few days.

“Him in 7 days

“You’re honor I would like to apologize for my outburst. That is not who I am…”

It’s clear that he made his decision about how he was going to act well before stepping into the courtroom. There’s no way that a couple of years in jail will change his mind on that. Regardless, now that he’s in prison, he got the one thing he wished for:

“He can be sovereign citizen of his jail cell now.”
