When you go to a movie theater, you expect a good time. Maybe grab some popcorn, a soda, and settle in for a couple of hours of escapism. That was the plan for a group of moviegoers in Arizona until their night took a bizarre and disgusting turn thanks to one unhinged man. No, he didn’t pull a weapon or try to fight the crowd. What he did was arguably stranger. He allegedly stood up in the middle of the Demon Slayer movie, unzipped his pants, and began urinating. Right there, in front of everyone, including children.
The man was later identified as Limil Hull, and while some people froze in disbelief, others weren’t about to let it slide. One audience member decided to take immediate action, marching over and punching Hull straight in the face. In the now-viral video circulating on Reddit, you can see Hull getting smacked around while, hilariously enough, Zenitsu is showing off his flashy combat skills on-screen. The dramatic music playing at that moment accidentally gave the whole mess a cinematic flair.
Once the commotion became impossible to ignore, theater staff quickly flipped on the lights. The Arizona man who threw the punches backed away, while Hull slumped motionless in his seat. A cluster of moviegoers could be seen hanging back, watching the scene unfold like they couldn’t decide whether to laugh or be horrified.
The staff immediately ordered everyone to leave the theater. Shortly after, the footage cuts to Hull being detained by Arizona police officers. According to reports, he was booked on several charges, including indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, criminal damage, and refusing to provide a truthful name.
Thankfully, AMC handled the disruption well. Patrons were refunded, offered the chance to continue watching Demon Slayer in a different theater, and even given free snacks to make up for the ordeal. Still, the whole situation left a bad taste in people’s mouths, figuratively, and unfortunately for some, almost literally.
Online reactions were a mix of humor and outrage. Many Reddit users thought the punches Hull received were more than deserved. “Piss demon got slayed,” one person joked, while another quipped, “Water Breathing, Twelfth Form: Ultimate Stream Attack!” Others were less amused, questioning why Hull wasn’t charged more seriously, given that children were present.
“Yeah, why isn’t he getting hit with a sex crime charge?” one commenter wrote. “He exposed himself around kids and even splashed one with piss. The fact he was arrested and then released is infuriating.”
Plenty of people also questioned Hull’s state of mind, speculating about drugs, alcohol, or mental health issues. “Peepee perpetrator gets popped,” one user wrote. “This dude has to have some serious issues. What would ever drive you to do this in the middle of a theater?”
